Things I've Done Today That Are Good For Me

1) I woke up early specifically to read my scriptures, woot!

2) Instead of a pastry from Starbucks I got fruit.

3) I'm drinking more water.

4) I'm drinking my Diet Coke out of a straw to save my teeth.

5) I'm skipping class, just because I want to.

That's pretty good so far. I'm proud to call me myself today.

Confession...

I have a new addiction to gambling...well kind of. Every once in a while I'll buy a scratch ticket from 7 eleven. I don't really win, except when I get my tickets from the lucky Jamaicans, with a friendly "good lucky honey." It's pretty fun.

Things Are So Easy When You're Jumping on a Trampoline.

When I was in preschool I lived in Bountiful, Utah on a street named Center. I would frequent the neighborhood park we affectionately termed "rocket park," because of the gigantic (at least it was when I was little) rocket structure amid the sand and swings.
My best friend was Jason Stemblick. We would build grass and twig dams in the gutter, jump on his trampoline, eat circus peanuts (for those who don't know what those are, they are disgusting orange colored fluffy candy, kind of like solid cotton candy), and I would sneak to his house to watch Mr. Rogers (my mom didn't like us watching it). We would play "G-Force," which was a kick ace cartoon back in my day, and build cities in the sandbox. Jason Stemblick and I were in love. It was pure, innocent, and awesome.
I'm going to Google him.
