In the last couple of weeks I have had some epiphanies that will give me a new plan, and change this up a bit. I'm a little nervous, but excited to move forward.
Epiff #1
I'm going to promptly finish my BA so that I can get a teaching certificate in order to teach elementary school. Brought on by a brief conversation with Heavenly Father in the temple a little before Christmas. Merry Christmas Rachel, you have direction in your life.
Epiff #2
Along with the said prompt finish of school comes with the necessity of time to study and such. After some thought, and serious P & F I have decided to quit my job at the salon (the end of January) and go to school full time. Eek!! This means I will only be doing hair out of my house, and only when I have time. This is a big deal for me. PS-Eclipse doesn't know about this, so please don't mention it to my boss. But I feel really good about this. Bring on the student loans!
That's it, I have purpose. More importantly I feel like I'm really in the hands of God, and that He really is listening to me, even over the small stuff. It's pretty nice. Yea!

CONGRATULATIONS, Rach! I'm so proud of you for taking this enormous leap of faith. Isn't is an amazing thing - - that whole "direction" stuff?
ps. may i have a haircut next month?
I'm sure we can work something out.
*Hyperventilating*
OK, I can come to your house, right?
Seriously, congratulations on the epiphanies! I love those. I'll have to tell you my most recent one the next time I get my hair cut. In your house. Right?
I think my stomach did a dip when I read you were quiting the salon...you're like my favorite bartender who gets all my woes. You know what to do to make it right. cheers.
and congrats on the direction! such a big deal. good for you! I'll be in contact for my next hair day.
xo
I love it. Here is to taking steps into the dark(imagine toasting here). Love your guts.
epiff#4 come see me and bring shears to cut Kathi's hair.....It's got to make you feel good that everyone loves your haircutting skills! Mine is nasty right now, I need at least two inches off.
ps I'll take it easy on the knees, I don't try to keep thier pace wich I think saves my poor knees. I did kick Ryker in the face(accidently of course) other day doing it, so it could definitely be a health hazard for him too :)
EPIFF!!!
I wish I knew what I was to accomplish in this life.
For now, I'm going to just be "mommy."
I miss and love you!
